Striving to meet our mission to serve our members and the public, the OCBA has a dedicated team of attorneys, judges, paralegals, other legal professionals, and business partners, who create and implement programs that are of value to all. In
addition to our education programs for members and fundraising events for the OCBA Foundation, Inc., and the Legal Aid Society of the Orange County Bar Association, Inc., many programs directly benefit members of our community. Programs developed

The Law Day 5k Run/Walk is a fantastic event that supports free civil legal aid programs, and we’re proud to host it on March 2, 2024. The race will take you through the stunning Lake Baldwin Park, providing you with a picturesque
view of the surroundings.
Immerse yourself in a day of riveting lectures, captivating demonstrations, and exhilarating panel discussions covering every essential aspect of trial advocacy. One session during the day features a panel discussion with judges on
what trial judges want from trial lawyers.
This dynamic, intensive two-day training program designed especially for young lawyers, participants will learn from the experts on how to navigate the court system and practice with professionalism and success. These practical sessions
– and much more – will help new attorneys become professional, confident, and successful practitioners in Orange County and beyond.
Our social events are a perfect way for you to have fun, meet up with colleagues, make new friends, and network. Additionally, members of the bench attend many of our events, giving you an opportunity to get to know the judges before
you practice before them in court. A real plus!
The OCBA Mentoring Program is offered over a four-month schedule, during the fall of each year. Mentors and mentees meet on their own schedule to discuss the practice of law.
The OCBA has a rich tradition of reaching out into the community with education programs and activities for citizens of all ages, especially during Law Week – which spans over a period of three months here in Central Florida.
